Brenton M. Schmitz

Brenton M. Schmitz is a Chicago workers’ compensation and personal injury lawyer and a partner at McHargue & Jones, LLC, where he represents injured workers and accident victims throughout Chicago and the greater Chicagoland area.

Brenton earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2008 and has been a licensed Illinois attorney for more than 14 years. Since joining the firm, he has devoted his legal practice to helping injured workers navigate the Illinois workers’ compensation system and pursue full and fair compensation after serious workplace and personal injury accidents.

Over the course of his career, Brenton has handled thousands of workers’ compensation and injury claims on behalf of Chicagoland workers across a wide range of industries. He has represented employees injured while working for large national employers and distribution centers, including warehouse, retail, grocery, and logistics workers. His experience includes representing injured workers employed by Amazon facilities, Walmart distribution and retail locations, Jewel-Osco grocery stores, and other major employers throughout Chicago, Cook County, and surrounding suburbs.
